摘要
《九章算术》与《几何原本》是古代东西方数学上的两个代表，对东西方数学发展分别产生过重大的影响．此文对它们之间进行比较，进而试探性地回答它们对现代数学发展所产生程度不同的影响．
《Arithmetic in Nine Sections》and 《Elements》 were two delegates in the east and west in ancient.They affected significantly mathematical Progress in the east and west. This paper compared them in their system and disting wishing feature and then proceeded to answcr exploratively their different influ ence to the modern mathematics development
