The cutting performances, the choices of machining data and the uses of silicon nitride ceramics cutting tools in machining of super hard materials are introduced. The excellent capabilities of silicon nitride ceramics cutting tools ravel out many cutting problems of super hard materials. The use of silicon nitride ceramics cutting tools improves the productivity and reduces the cutting cost greatly. It has a broad foreground of applications.
