翻译不仅是一项双语活动,也是一种跨文化活动。文化在翻译中的作用不可低估。在翻译实践中,我们只有将语言知识与文化融合,才能达到民族间的真正交流。本文着重从中西方地理文化、历史文化、宗教信仰、理解与思维等方面研究文化差异对翻译的影响。

Translation is not only an bilingual activity, but also an cross-cultral activity. Culture also plays an imporiant role in the process of translation. Only when translation and culture come into one, can communication between these two nations be achieved. This paper studies how culture influences translation from the aspects of geographical difference, historical difference, religious difference, and different thinking way.
