肾上腺髓质素是一种生物活性多肽,由人体多种组织包括脑组织合成。其参与多种生物学活性,在许多疾病的进程中起重要作用。其可能通过舒张血管、调节脑循环和血脑屏障在脑血管病中发挥保护作用。
Adrenomedullin, a bioactive polypeptide, is synthesized by a variety of human tissues including brain tissue. It participates in many biological activities, and plays important roles in the processes of various diseases. It may relax blood vessels, regulate cerebral circulation and blood-brain barrier in the cerebrovascular diseases, and thus protect brain from ischemic and hemorrhagic injury.
