城市道路交通不仅是一个如何达到便捷高效,提高人流、货流通畅效率问题,也是一个从根本上改善人居环境质量,有利于可持续发展的重要战略问题。作为为百姓提供公共服务的政府,必须将城市道路交通问题作为其工作的第一要务。应从政策、投资、建设、管理和规划上认真加以解决,改善交通环境,实现城市经济和社会的可持续发展。

The city road transportation not only concerns the efficiency of convenience, the smooth people and goods traffic, but conceres the strategy of improving the human settlement and helping the sustainable development. The government, as an organization of public service, must regard the road transportation as the priority of their work. The transportation environment should be improved in the policy, investment, construction, management and planning for the realization of the sustainable development of the society and economy.
