Wu Weiye's Poetry and Its Relationship with the Category of "One-and-many" in Zhouyi

"一与多"是在《周易》、《老子》等典籍中被总结出来的对立统一的范畴。受到这种传统尤其是《易》学名家黄道周的影响,吴伟业往往沿着"一与多"的思路进行诗歌创作,这在《圆圆曲》等作品中表现得尤为突出。

The Principle of ＂One-and-many＂ is a category of the unity of opposites advanced in such ancient Chinese philosophical canons as Zhouyi and Lao Tzu. Influenced by this philosophical tradition especially by Huang Daozhou, a famous expert in the studies of I Ching, Wu Weiye often created poems and songs following the Principle of ＂One-and-many＂, which is well-reflected in his poems and songs such as Yuanyuan Qu（ Song for Yuanyuan ） .
