Reflection on the Value Orientation of the Western Light Literature

西方通俗文学最重要的价值取向主要侧重于表现对人类精神的特别关怀和西方普通百姓深层的审美心理以及揭示人类社会历史的丰富内涵上。本文试图通过分析通俗文学的人文层次、审美层次和历史层次的价值追求,探寻通俗文学价值取向的基本脉络。

The principal value orientation of the western light literature mostly emphasizes on representing the special solicitude to the mentality of the human being, the deep-seated aesthetical psychology of the western common people and revealing the abundant social and historical connotation of the human kind. This paper attempts to explore the basic trends of the value orientation in the western light literature by analyzing the value pursuing of the light literature at the three levels of humanity, aesthetics and history respectively.
