The Criterion to Distinguish and Analyze Transitional Discourse Markings in Korean

转化类话语标记是指原本具有概念意义的词或短语不再表示概念意义而只表示形式意义,从而具有话语标记功能的词或短语。由于转化类话语标记是由表概念意义的词转化而来的,因此,它在意义上发生了变化。意义上的变化,又导致了其功能上的变化。总之,意义上和功能上的变化,使之成为句中的随意成分,这些要素就构成了转化类话语标记的辨析标准。

Transitional discourse markings refer to those words or phrases that have lost their original concept and become discourse with functional markings. As the markings originate from words with real concepts, it is obvious that the changes of the concepts cause the functional changes. These changes in meaning and function make the discourse markings not only a random constituent part in sentences, but also a criterion to distinguish and analyze these markings.
