Approach to the Meaning of the State in Marxism

国家理论是马克思主义公共管理思想的核心组成部分。在马克思恩格斯看来,国家的内涵包括三个侧面:作为阶级统治工具的国家、作为社会管理机关的国家、作为仲裁者的国家。国家是这三个侧面组成的有机整体。从马克思主义的途径来理解国家的语义,是正确认识国家及其本质的基础和关键。

State theory is the nuclear part of the thoughts of Marxism＇s public management. From the views of Marx and Engels, the meaning of state includes three aspects： a state as a tool for governance, a state as a social administrative organ and a state as an interceder. A state is an organic body constituted by the three aspects. Understanding the semantic meaning of state from the approach of Marxism is the base and key to properly understand state and its essences.
