进入21世纪,清洁生产作为可持续发展战略的优先行动领域和有效途径,得到了国际的普遍认可和广泛采纳。深入研究和实施清洁生产对于实现我国经济社会与环境协调发展具有重要的意义。文章从清洁生产的内容与特征入手,分析了湖北省近几年来的清洁生产状况、存在的问题和产生的原因,提出为进一步推进湖北省的清洁生产工作应采取的促进措施。

The paper starts with the content and character of cleaner production, analyses the status qua of it in Hubei, and lastly, suggests measures to improve the situation.
