From the Inscriptions to See the Manufacturing & Management of Crossbows in the Three Kingdoms Period

由于魏蜀吴职官设置和社会背景的差异,三国弩机刻铭体例各有特色,弩机的制造和管理各有联系亦有区别。本文着重从弩机铭文反映的内涵探索三国时期弩机的制造和管理问题。

Different Official settings and social backgrounds existing in the Wei, the Shu and the Wu kingdoms brought about distinctive styles of inscriptions on crossbows, which, though shared something in common, were different from one another in manufacturing and management. This paper tries to explore the connotation of the inscriptions on crossbows so as to conclude issues in the manufacturing and management of crossbows in the Three Kingdoms period.
