It is urgent demands for college education to offer innovative experiments, train innovative talents in the new stage. The teachers at laboratory of basic chemistry in Beijing University of Technology have done pilot work in offering innovative experiments and training students in this process. Furthermore, the characteristics of innovative experiments and how to train the students in doing such kind of experiment were discussed here.
