人的全面发展是马克思主义理论的一个重要命题,是马克思主义关注社会发展的核心。党中央提出的科学发展观,以人为本,全面推进经济建设、政治建设、文化建设、社会建设,坚持全面可持续发展,促进人的全面发展。人的全面发展理论具有丰富的内涵:是我们党的宗旨的集中体现;是科学发展观的必然要求和根本目的;是检验我党在新时代执政能力的标尺;是全面建设小康社会的最高价值取向。

The people＇s all- round development is a major proposition of Marxist theory and a core of its focus on social development. The scientific outlook on development, which is put forward by CPC Central Committee, taking people as the foremost, intends to push on the comprehensive construction on economy, politics, culture and society, and insist on the wholly sustainable development so as to promote people＇s all - round development. The theory of people＇ s overall development contains rich connotations, which, as the objective of our Party, is the necessary requirement and basic purpose of the scientific outlook on development, the gauge to test our Party＇s administrative ability during the new era; and the highest value orientation to build a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
