Breeding of Sorghum bicolor×Sorghum sudanense cv. Mengnong No. 3

从高粱雄不育系A3×黑壳苏丹草杂种F2代分离群体中开始选择优秀单株,通过4次单株选择、1次混合选择及品比、区域与生产试验,历经8个世代育成蒙农3号高丹草。该品种根系发达,茎基部节间短缩粗壮,株高约380cm,生育期141d,种子活秆成熟,分蘖多,再生性强,每年可刈割利用3次,鲜草产量和种子产量分别为13.30万kg/hm2和0.58万kg/hm2;茎叶柔嫩,茎叶比2.81,拔节期粗蛋白质含量13.77%,开花期粗蛋白质含量11.12%、粗脂肪4.07%、粗纤维36.11%、粗灰分5.36%、无氮浸出物41.67%,糖锤度3.86%,富含17种氨基酸,CN-含量低,适口性好,可青饲、青贮或晒制干草;植株抗倒伏,田间未发生病虫危害症状,适应性广,适宜在有效积温≥2400℃的地区推广种植。

Sorghum bicolor X Sorghum sudanense cv. Mengnong No. 3, a forage crop cultivar selected from interspecies hybrid between sorghum male sterile line A3 and black hull sudangrass, had been bred successively through 8 generations by selecting good single plant in the F2 hybrid population for 4 times, one time mixed selection and yield experiment etc. The roots of the variety were developed well, the plant height was about 380cm, growing period was about 141 days, the stems and leaves were green after seed matu- ring, the tiller number was 6-9, the regeneration vigor was strong and can be cut 3 times in growing season, the fresh yield and seed yield were about 133000.25 kg/hm2 and 5800.00 kg/hm2 respectively; the stems and leaves were tender, the ratio of stem to leave was 2.81, the content of crude protein in dry mat- ter was 13.77~ at jointing stage, the content of crude protein was11.12%, crude fat 4.07%, crude fiber 36.11%, crude ash 5.36%, soluble carbohydrate 41.67%, the sugar dioptre 3.86%, rich in amino acids at flowering stage, the content of CN- was low, the nutrition value was high and it was tasty, it can be used as fresh forage, the ensiling or making the hay; the plant resistance ability was strong, the damage by disease and insects did not occur, and the ecological adaptability was wide, it was suitable for extending in the region where the effective accumulation temperature is more than 2400℃.
