This paper explores the characteristics of response styles among students with hearing and visual impairment. The measurement scales are positively and negatively narrated forms of NEO - FFI. Results show that response styles do exist in both student groups, and hearing and visual impaired students exhibit stronger Acquiescence, Indifference and Extremeness, but weaker Flexibility compared with normal high school students. Another finding is that in these two student groups response styles may demonstrate particular personality traits. Positive Extremeness Style may relate to extroversion and agreeableness. Indifference Response Style may relate to conservativeness and refusal of new ideas. Acquiescence Response Style also has relationship with openness.
