On the basis of West--East Gas Pipeline and southwestern finished oil pipeline constructions, this paper discusses the large--diameter pipe cleaning and pressure test techniques in mountainous areas. The techniques cover equipment model selection, pipeline interval dividing, determination of maximum height difference in water pressure test, and so on.
