针对中国设计界存在的设计批评缺位和严重扭曲问题,提出了解决方法,即加强设计理论的研究,不断普及设计教育,形成设计批评理论与空间阵地;同时给出了制定设计批评标准的着眼点:一是以人的行为方式和需求作为产品设计的核心问题;二是产品设计服务于人的信息环境和生活空间;三是参照国外设计经验,从本国国情出发探求中国百姓的深层需求,走有中国特色的产品设计之路。同时指出,只有这样才能迅速使中国设计水平不断得到提升,争取夺取世界设计市场。
