摩尼七神像石刻拓本考略

Research on a rubbing of a stone carving of seven Manichean deities

中山大学图书馆收藏有一件古代石刻拓本,上有摩尼神、树神、山神和四方神像并题记。本文考证其为摩尼教徒供奉的石刻,造于五代吴越国宝正八年(公元933年)。

An ancient stone rubbing in the collection of the Zhongshan University Library in Guangzhou depicts Mani at the top,a tree deity,mountain deity and deities of the four directions,as well as related inscriptions.The author,from the Palace Museum,demonstrates that this is a stone carving made for Manichean donors and that it dates to the 8^(th) year (933 AD) of the Baozheng reign period of the Wu-Yue kingdom in the Five Dynasties period.
