Features and Developments of Sino-African Relations over the Past 30 years Since the Start of China's Open-Door Policy

改革开放30年来,中非关系快速发展,成果显著。其鲜明特点是,完成了从政策调适到成熟发展的新型战略伙伴关系的转变;高层政治交往更加密切,经济合作取得前所未有的成果;中非在发展援助和国际领域的合作形成自身特色,与西方国家形成对比。中非关系在长足发展的同时,也面临一些挑战,需要双方密切合作,共同应对。中非新型战略伙伴关系及其成果是中非关系进一步发展的基础,这种关系所确定的原则和内容能够有效应对挑战并保证中非关系持续深化发展。

Over the past 30 years,Sino-African relations,after some adjustments and adaptations,have resulted in a new type of mature strategic partnership,which has facilitated frequent exchange of high level visits and produced great achievements in economic cooperation.Such a partnership has its own features and contrasts sharply with those of the West.In spite of the satisfactory developments of Sino-African relations,there are some challenges that call for the joint efforts of China and Africa to cope with.The new type of strategic partnership and the achievements have provided the foundation for further development of Sino-African relations and the principles conceived from such a partnership will enable both sides to efficiently cope with the challenges and promote a sustainable development of bilateral relations.
