摘要
连接是语篇衔接的重要手段。论文通过翻译对等语料,对英汉语篇中连接手段的使用倾向和频率进行了对比研究,并在研究结果的基础上,从英汉语言基本结构单位的差异出发,对英汉连接手段使用差异的成因进行了探讨。
Conjunction has been an important cohesive device. This paper, based upon translation statistics, looks at the different frequencies of conjunctive devices in English and Chinese, and in doing so, conducts a cause analysis in the light of the discrepancies between the basic structural units of Chinese and English.
