摘要
本文回顾了中国高校自2001以来七年内的双语教学状况,讨论了双语教学的定义、教材选择、教学模式、教学效果、师资培养以及研究方法等问题的研究现状。然后,作者指出了目前中国高校双语教学中存在的一些问题:比如双语教学的操作性问题、实证性问题、主体性问题、本土化理论问题等。最后针对当前现状,提出了四点建议:走实证与理论相结合的研究路线;将研究焦点由教师转向学生;整合学科优势,建立跨学科的研究视角。
The paper reviews the studies and research on English-Chinese bilingual education in China higher education since 2001 and discusses such issues as the definition of bilingual education, bilingual texbooks, teaching methodology, teaching assessment, bilingual teacher training, etc. Then, the author points out some crucial problems that are to be solved: the opera- tional definition of bilingual education, empirical studies, the localization of theories, and so on. Finally, the author makes some suggestions as far as the status quo is concerned: the approach of theory study with empirical supports, the shift of focus from teachers to students, the approach of interdisciolinary study, etc.
