摘要
"时间之狱"理论反映了俄裔美籍作家纳博科夫对时间的独特理解。纳博科夫的多部作品揭示了身陷牢不可破的"时间之狱"中的人的生存和生活。以其早期小说《斩首之邀》为例,探讨处于"时间之狱"中的人们的生存空间和生活方式,论证这部小说对纳博科夫"时间之狱"理论的建构和阐释。
Nabokov＇ s ＂Time Prison＂ theory reflects his special understanding of time. Many of Nabokov＇ s novels reveal the situation of human existence, helpless and hopeless, in the formidable ＂Time Prison＂. This paper intends to explore the living space and the life styles of human beings in one of Nabokov＇ s early novels, Invitation to a Beheading, so as to illustrate and interpret his theory of ＂Time Prison＂.
