摘要
散文作为常见的文学体裁,其审美效果如何在译文中再现是一个值得关注的话题。文章以《荷塘月色》的英译为例,从散文的语体特征(如语言的简洁、句构的节奏、散文的意境)作为切入点探讨了散文的美学效果在译文里的艺术再现问题,从而指出散文的翻译重在译出其艺术韵味。
The essay, one of the forms of literature, shows much aesthetic effect in itself. The aesthetic effect is worthy being explored. The paper discusses the exact reproduction of the aesthetic effect of essay in the target language. Meanwhile, the paper emphasizes that the translator should manage to translate the spirit of the original, which is of overriding importance in translating essays.
