An Investigation into the Present Situation of Festivals and Celebrations of Minnan Culture

通过对闽南农村、郊区及市区三种类型的社区居民节日庆典态度的调查,分析这些节日庆典受性别、社区、年龄、文化程度与职业等因素影响的情况。将传统闽南文化中的节日庆典形式划分为家族型、信仰型、社区型以及节气型四种类型,探讨四种类型节日在现代化进程中的不同境遇。

Through investigation of attitude about festivals and celebrations of residents in Minnan Rural, suburban and urban, we analyze how festivals and celebrations are influenced by the factors such as sex, community, age, educational level and vocation. By classifying these festivals into four different forms of family-based, faith-based, community-based and solar-term-based, we discuss what happened on these four forms of festivals during modernization process.
