The international production template of Mercedes-Benz was introduced as the main information system for production management and the ANDON system of Siemens was employed for shop floor control by Beijng Benz-DaimlerChrysler Automotive Ltd. These two information systems work independently with no repeated functions. They include the main management functions for automobile manufacturing.
