Information reference service is a kind of effective service mode in university library＇s service for readers. This paper researches university library＇s information reference service from three aspects： the contents and the main forms of university library＇s information reference service, the connotations of TCM diagnostic methods and the application of information technology in TCM, and the application of typical TCM diagnostic methods in the information reference service of university library.
