Application and Prospect of Modified Bamboo

本文在概述竹材人造板的类型及其各自特点的基础上,举例说明改性竹材在建筑模板、装饰、构件、家具、包装和交通运输方面的应用及其优势所在;并就其应用现状中存在的问题,提出有关改性竹材发展中的几点建议,力图推广改性竹材的应用,缓解木材供应压力,为其营造健康、可持续的市场环境。

On the basis of summarizing types of the bamboo-based panel and each characteristic, application and advantages of modified bamboo in the construction formwork, decoration, component, furniture, package, and transportation were introduced by taking examples. According to the existing problems in present application situation, several suggestions on the development of modified bamboo were proposed to promote the application of modified bamboo and decrease the wood supplying pressure so as to sound and sustainable market environment.
