On the basis of involutory matrix, this paper develops a concept of strong involutory matrix, discusses its basic nature, and some conditions of equal value, thus enriching the contents of involutory matrix. At last, it discusses the relationship between strong involutorymatrix and sub strong sub-- orthogonal matrix.
