文化差异在双语翻译中的体现

任何语言都依赖于本民族的文化而存在,汉语和英语更是承载着浓厚的文化底蕴。要想使翻译成为推进语言发展的重要手段,就必须将其与文化自然融合,才能达成真正的交流。但各方面的文化差异却为翻译设置了障碍,如认知思维、历史文化、地域环境和人生价值观等。为此,本文通过比较和分析,阐述文化差异在翻译中的体现,从而使双语翻译准确和忠实,达到跨文化交际的目的。

Every language survives on the basis of its national culture, especially Chinese and English, both of which bear strong cultural heritage. Thus, translation should combine with culture naturally to fulfill the real communication if it could be regarded as an essential means of promoting linguistic development. However, the cultural divergences in every aspect, such as cognitive mental vitality, historical culture, territorial environment, philosophy and values, etc. have caused barriers in the process of translation. To this end, the reflection of cultural divergences will be elaborated in translation through comparasion and analysis to be accuracy and close to the natural taste, which will reach the goal of crosscultural communication.
