基于CDIO理念探讨大学生现代工程意识培养

Enhancing students' modern engineering sense based on conceiving,designing,implementing and operating(CDIO) conception

工程意识是工程师最重要、最基本的素质之一,也是高等院校工程教育的薄弱环节。高等工程教育必须着力培养学生的工程意识。文章阐述了现代工程意识的内涵,分析了现代工程技术人员素质结构,指出了学校在培养学生工程意识中存在的主要问题。根据CDIO工程教育理念,从转变教育观念、优化课程体系、建立有效机制、加强实践教学、改进教学方法等方面,探索学生工程意识培养的有效途径。

Engineering sense is one of the essential qualities of the engineer ,yet the development of students＇ engineering sense remains a weak point in university engineering education. It is maintained that engineering higher education should strive to upgrade the students＇ engineering sense. The connotation of modem engineering sense is presented. The composition of the qualities of modern engineers is analyzed. Weakness in developing the students＇ engineering sense is discussed. Effective means to enhance the students＇ engineering sense ,based on conceiving, designing, implementing and operating （ CDIO Initiative）, is explored in terms of renewing educational concept, optimizing teaching curriculum, establishing effective mechanism, strengthening practice teaching, and improving instructional methods.
