论广西开发建设中的环境问题与民族和谐发展

Environment Problem in the Exploitation of Guangxi and Harmonious Ethnic Development

广西是一个多民族杂居地,由于历史与自然条件的原因,经济社会发展较为滞后。改革开放以来,尤其是党中央、国务院确立西部大开发战略以来,广西各族人民掀起了开发建设的热潮,取得了突出成就。但是,在开发建设过程中,由于有意无意地忽视了对自然环境的保护,对自然环境造成了严重的破坏,这不仅影响到了经济社会的可持续发展,而且对民族和谐发展带来了不良影响。因此,我们必须要采取有效措施,加强自然环境的保护与建设,促进民族的和谐发展。

Guangxi is an area inhabited by minority nationalities. Due to the natural condition and historical causes, its economic and social development is lagging behind. Since the reform and opening to the outside world, especially after the CPCC and State Council determined the development strategies of China＇s western region, nationalities in Guangxi have surged at the exploitation construction, and have made great achievement. However, in the process of construction, environment protection has been ignored intentionally or accidentally. Serious damages to the natural environment not only affected the sustainable development of economic society, but also brought harmful effect to the harmonious ethnic development. Therefore, we must take effective measures to strengthen environment protection and promote harmonious ethnic development.
