The humor prose is an important part of prose in the 20th century. The prose would be seen as the miniature of Lin Yintan＇s humor prose. Between the period of his advocating humor prose and the development of humor prose in Taiwan, there is some relationship. Lin Yutan＇s humor in his prose writings fall into three kinds： soft humor,harsh humor and wisdom humor. All of them are inherited among prose writers in Taiwan.
