摘要
分析了硬盘容量限制的成因以及LBA48b寻址模式对137.4GB容量的突破。在此基础上进一步分析了VxWorks平台下不能识别超过137.4GB容量硬盘的原因。然后根据硬盘LBA48b寻址模式的原理,分析如何修改VxWorks平台下的ATA驱动程序,最终达到支持大容量硬盘的能力。
The paper analyses reasons of limitation of HD capability, and the breakthrough of LBA 48bit to 137.4GB capability, and studies the reason that it can＇t recognize HD with more than 137.4GB based on VxWorks. According to the principle of HD LBA 48bit addressing mode, some ways on how to modify the ATA driver are analyzed based on the VxWorks platform so as to obtain large capacity HD.
