计算机和网络的飞速发展,使视频数据库的内容检索成为迫切需求,对视频检索的基本概念进行了介绍,提出一种视频分段技术,利用镜头检测、运行特征、镜头聚类技术等方法对视频进行分段,对实现基于内容的视频检索和浏览,具有很大的实用性。

The requirement for retrieval of the contents in video database is eager along with the rapid development of computer network. This paper introduces its basic concept, proposes a video segmentation technology which uses function features, shot detection and shot clustering in segmenting. The technology will provide video retrieval and browse based on contents with great utility.
