摘要
福克纳家族小说叙事具有鲜明的独创性和对传统家族叙事的革新性,并从内容到形式深刻而广泛地影响了中国新时期的家族小说创作。从母题形态、时间观念、空间布局、叙事方式等方面探讨中国作家对福克纳的接受、过滤和重塑,考察中国儒教文化家族叙事和美国基督教文化家族叙事之间的交往互动和内在差异,剖析各自的精神价值诉求和文化传统底蕴。
Faulkner's clan narrative has greatly renovated traditional family novels and has been characterized by distinct creativity. Faulkner's family novel narration has exerted a profound influence on the writing of the family novels in China New Period, both on their structures and on their contents. The narrative motifs, time concept, space arrangement and narrative modes in Faulkner's clan narratives are the focus of the present thesis. The interactive relationship between Faulkner and Chinese writers in New Period, who have accepted, selected, and most important of all, transmuted and reconstructed Faulkner's clan narratives in their works, is explored extensively in order to probe into different views of world and conceptions of history in Chinese and American family culture based on Confucianism and Christianity respectively.
