科学技术在大学生爱国主义教育中尽领风骚,它丰富大学生爱国主义教育的内容,创新其教育模式,强化其物质设施,科技史及科学精神则有效拓展其人文内涵。但科学技术对大学生爱国主义教育的负面影响亦不容忽视,应系统构建大学生的爱国主义教育体系,深化保障机制,加强理论建设和实践探索,增强国家科技安全教育,借助高科技手段不断强化大学生爱国主义教育。

Science and technology has an important role to play in patriotic education in colleges and universities. Science and technology may enrich the content of patriotic education, update the educational mode, and improve the basic facilities, while the history of science and technology as well as scientific spirit can add a humanistic touch to patriotic education. Yet, the negative influence of science and technology should not be forgotten, and to deal with it, we should construct patriotic education system, further improve the guarantee mechanism, strengthen theoretical and practical researches, enhance education in national security, and take full advantage of high technology.
