For the mining of the face with increased dip angle or in areas with concentrated stress or overpass entries, the maintenance of workings is rendered very difficult and such phenomena as rib spalling and prop-free front are generally observed, posing hazards to mining operation. Through the use of the sealing and reinforcing material, the mine has put an end to the passive situation. Supporting of Coal Roadway with Combined Bolting-wire Mesh-shotcreting Technique-The paper presents a summary of the experience gained by Qianjiaying Branch Company on the use of the combined support technique during the development coal roadways. The experience can serve as a basis for reference in the design and drivage of similar workings in the future.
