The paper bases its analysis on the Freudian Personality Structure Theory from three aspects of the general backgroud, personalities and love of Catherine in Wuthering Heights and Lin Daiyu in The Dream of Red Mansion. Through the comparison, we can have a bwetter understanding of the similarities between them in the above three aspects.
