摘要
在加拿大的历史发展过程中,1837年起义是其唯一的一次起义。单纯从军事上看,这只是一次较小规模的战斗,但这次流血行为却震惊了英帝国,导致了其对英属北美殖民地的重新认识以及《德拉姆报告》的出台。
1837 Rebellion in Canada is the only violent uprising in the process of the Canada history development. It is a small fight just only from military point, but the British Empire was astonished by the outbreak of Canadian revolts in 1837. It led the rethinking about its govern policy towards the colony and British government had to send Durham to give a full investigation about colony affairs.
