The Cultivation of English Fast Reading Ability

快速阅读其实就是一种快速找出文章大意的阅读方式,是国家英语四级考试改革后的新题型,在现实生活中具有很大的实用价值。帮助学生在英语学习中应对四级考试的变化、更快速有效地掌握阅读技能和方法、提高阅读水平是英语教学的一个重点。本文从注意日常学习中的单词积累、学会对文章的整体把握理解、增大阅读量丰富阅读内容、训练逐步提高阅读速度四个方面论述了英语快速阅读能力的培养的问题。

Fast reading actually is a way that finding out the main idea of a passage quickly. It is a new examination type in CET 4 and it is also very practical in daily life. How to help students to deal with this change, to grasp the reading skill and method more efficiently and to improve reading level is quite important in English teaching. This article discusses the problem how to form a good habit of fast reading from four parts： accumulating words in daily study ; learning to understand passage as a whole ; enlarging amount of reading and enriching content of reading; making reading speed faster gradually.
