Cultural and Psychological Factors in Inter-cultural Communication

在任何形式的跨文化交际活动中,我们需要注意文化和心理因素充斥跨文化交际的全过程,与此同时,也要重视群体和个体差异。如果我们想在跨文化交际这个舞台上大展身手,不仅应该具有良好的语言能力,而且还要具有跨文化交际的意识。也就是说,我们应该了解和熟悉这些影响跨文化交际的文化因素和心理因素,从而在熟悉和接触目的文化时做到思想开放,行为变通。

With the globalization of world economy and the increase of transaction activities, people have many chances to engage in inter - cultural communications. During the communication in any fields, they note that linguistic competence is not all for the effective inter- cultural communication due to some non- linguistic factors. This paper tends to ronghly classify those factors into two categories：cultural factors and psychological factors,and elaborate them in detail, hoping that it can provide insights for the inter-cultural communicators in different inter-cultural activities.
