摘要
波长选择开关(WSS)是近几年发展迅速的可重构光分插复用器(ROADM)的子系统,其波长开关能够在任意的输入、输出端口之间进行倒换,大大提高了密集波分复用(DWDM)设备的组网能力。文章简述了实现WSS的几种技术方法的特点,阐述了基于液晶技术的WSS的结构,给出了具体的1×2 WSS的光路设计方案,并利用琼斯矩阵从理论上分析了该结构的可行性。
The Wavelength-Selective Switch(WSS) is a subsystem of the Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer(ROADM) that is rapidly developing in recent years.It can switch over between any input and output ports,greatly enhancing the networking capability of DWDM equipment.This paper briefly describes the features of several technologies for the realization of WSS,illustrates the structure of the LC-based WSS,presents the specific optical circuit design scheme for the 1×2 WSS,and theoretically analyzes the feasibility of its structure with the help of Jones matrix.
