Application of wireless network to the library of Xi'an Eurasia University

西安欧亚学院图书馆以"提供高质量信息服务"为使命,在建馆当初,对读者需求进行调查分析,通过在图书馆内建设无处不在无线网络,极大地提高了读者学习的主动性与灵活性,同时为教师轻松接入网上教学平台(BBS),推进学校多媒体教学和在线教育的更广泛应用。通过图书馆提供无线网络的服务创新,使图书馆真正成为读者学习的第二课堂。

With the aim at＂ providing high-quality information services＂, according to the investigation on the demands of its readers before establishment, the Library of Xi＇ an Eurasia University was equipped with a wireless network, which enables the readers to study in the library much more conveniently and also facilitates the teachers to browse the Bulletin Boards System （BBS） more easily. Thus, multimedia instruction and on-line education can be applied more widely. In order to make the library become the second classroom of the readers, the library should make innovation in providing services of the wireless network.
