随着信息高速公路的迅速发展,Internet网站、网络在人际交流及经济生活起着重要的作用。如何正确翻译英语网络、网站名称显得是十分重要。本文从语言学角度探讨和分析英语网络、网站名称的构成、特点,以及翻译原则和方法,如:音译、意译、直译、谐音取义等方法。
The rapid development of information technology makes internet an indispensible tool in interpersonal communication as well as the economy. How to translate the names of networks and websites is therefore of considerable importance. This paper analyzes the construction and features of these names and explores the related translation principles and techniques.
