摘要
提出一种改进无线TCP性能的端对端的自适应前向纠错方案AFEC,能够自动根据网络状况决定是否启动前向纠错、加入冗余包数量.仿真研究表明,AFEC能有效缓解无线网络中大量丢包和频繁重传的问题,与传统方案相比,在大时延或多跳的无线环境中具有更好的性能.
An end-to-end adaptive forward error correction (AFEC) solution is proposed to improve the wireless TCP (transmission control protocol) performance. It can automatically decide the starting of FEC and the amount of redundant packets. Simulation of the system shows that AFEC can relieve the problems of losing packets and frequent retransmission. Compared with the traditional schemes, it can greatly improve the performance of wireless TCP in large-delay and multihop circumstances.
