Based on comprehensive studies about the design of Huaian International Exhibition Center, this article summarizes some design skills of exhibition buildings, and reveals GMP＇s design styles： simplicity, variety, unity, structural order and unique identity. Rationalism and emotionalism were combined seamlessly in the design of Huaian International Exhibition Center which becomes a visiting card as well as a landmark of the citv.
