The eutectic cool storage system has the advantages of both the ice and the chilled water cool storage systems and easily be connected with the common air conditoning system.In this paper,the requirements of phase change materials for air conditioning cool storage system have been analyzed,the characteristics of Na 2SO 4·10H 2O/H 2O solution have been discussed and its peritectic temperature could be changed by adding NaCl and/or NH 4Cl to meet the requirement of chiller system.The running methods of the eutectic cool storage system have also been discussed.
