经济全球化对民族语言造成威胁。语言规划在全球化时代对濒危语言、语言多样性、语言人权等问题予以了更多的关注。语言消亡现象引起国际语言学界的重视,成为21世纪语言学界的中心议题。语言和文化的多样性这一价值观念已经开始被接受。中国语言规划的新目标——构建和谐的语言生活,反映了全球化时代语言规划理论的新发展,符合中国建设和谐社会的总体趋势。

Economic globalization is threatening ethnic languages. At the globalizing age, language planning focuses more on endangered languages ,language diversity and language human rights than ever before. Language distinction draws the attention of linguistic scholars throughout the world, and becomes a hot topic of linguistic field in the twenty-first century. The concept of language and culture diversity has began to be accepted. The new goal of China＇ s language planning to construct harmonious language life reflects the new development of language planning theory in the age of globalization,and fits the general trend of China＇ s construction of harmonious society.
