Discussion on the Relationship between Innovations on IT and Financial Market Business Commercial Banks

金融市场业务是当前商业银行优化业务结构、实现经营转型的战略性创新业务,同时,金融市场业务对信息技术及其专业人才的依赖度较高。尽管最近几年国内银行在科技平台和信息化建设方面作了大量投入,但对金融市场业务发展的支持仍然不够。商业银行应在观念上将科技创新从"满足业务需要"转变为"引领业务创新",只有根据金融市场业务发展的特点,加大科技创新,建立专业团队,才能形成竞争优势,促进金融市场业务发展。

Financial market business is a strategic and innovative business under the circumstance that business structure optimization and operational transformation are being carried out in commercial banks, which highly relies on IT and professional talents. Although large investments have been made for the improvement of IT platform of domestic banks in recent years, it is still insufficient in supporting financial market business. Commercial banks should change their concepts on IT innovation from ＂meeting business requirements＂ to ＂leading business innovation＂. Only by strengthening IT innovation and building up professionalized team in line with the characters of business development of financial market, can competitive dominance be achieved to promote further expansion of the business.
