"留守儿童"一词是富有中国特色的文化负载词。目前,该词存在多种译法,还没有形成统一、规范的译文。选择恰当的英译有助于中国文化的传播。
The Chinese phrase Liushou＇ertong is a culture-loaded word, whose proper translation will accelerate the dissemination of Chinese culture. At present, the uniformed version of this word has not yet given. This essay supplies detailed differentiation among different versions of Liushou＇ertong, and offers an analysis on the cultural differences of China and the West.
